I Samuel 15:23
( The Prophet Samuel to King Saul)
“For Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou has rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you from being king.”
There is a punishment for These 2 Sins:
Rebellion = Witchraft
Stubbornness = Iniquity & Idolatry
The punishment is being rejected by God!
* In Witchcraft we follow Satan
* In Iniquity we twist the Truth
* In Idolatry we worship false god’s or idols
- Know that God rejects us from the role of Leadership when we reject his Word!
- God also rejects us when we dishonor or Disobey His Word that is coming thru one of his servants or the Delegated Authority!
I Samuel 15:22
“And Samuel said, Hath not the LORD great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD?
Behold to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
These things will keep us from inheriting the kingdom of God – Galatians 5:16-21
” This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary, the one to the other, so that ye cannot do the things which ye would.
But if ye be led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, variance, emulations, seditions, heresies,”
